Delete Your Account

You can delete your Trailmonger account and its data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest way and takes effect immediately.

  1. Open Trailmonger and sign in.
  2. Open the menu and go to your profile preferences.
  3. Choose Delete Account and confirm.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app or have already uninstalled it, email support@trailmonger.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm the request, complete the deletion within 30 days, and email you when it is done. You do not need to reinstall the app.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

  • Your account, sign-in credentials, and profile (name, email, phone, avatar).
  • Recorded tracks, including their GPS traces and any heart rate, calorie, or step figures saved alongside them.
  • Saved waypoints, routes, areas, markers, folders, and favorites.
  • Photos, ratings, and reviews you contributed.
  • Location shares, live-location history, and saved emergency contacts.
  • Saved searches, offline pack records, and your registered devices.
  • Push notification subscriptions and any email or SMS contact records.

What we keep, and for how long

  • Billing and transaction records. Retained as long as tax and accounting law requires. Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play are managed by those stores — deleting your account does not cancel a subscription or issue a refund. Cancel through the store first.
  • Trail corrections and map data reports. Once a correction is applied to the shared map, it stays, because it is no longer personal to you. It is disassociated from your account.
  • Aggregated and anonymized statistics that cannot identify you.
  • Backups. Your data may persist in encrypted backups for a short period before those backups age out on their normal schedule.

Health data

Workouts Trailmonger wrote to Apple Health or Health Connect stay on your device under that app's control. Delete them there if you want them removed — we cannot delete them for you. Health figures we stored on our own servers alongside your tracks are deleted with your account.
